The oil industry is one of the main drivers for the recent icebreaker projects and for arctic development in general. The development of the first-ever arctic class heavy cargo carrier has been a very interesting project technically. There has also been continuous research and development where we have been concentrating on new services, like the ice simulator, and on the development of our vessels’ fuel economy and environmental friendliness.
