International Symposium on Ice in Poland
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Hanyang Gong, Research Engineer at Aker Arctic, will participate in the 27th IAHR International Symposium on Ice! This prestigious event, organized by the Ice Research and Engineering Committee of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR), will take place from June 9 to 13, 2024, at Gdansk University of Technology (GdanskTECH) in Poland.
The symposium covers a wide range of topics related to ice research, including river, lake, and sea ice, as well as the climatic impact on the cryosphere. It is a fantastic opportunity to engage with leading experts and stay at the forefront of ice research and engineering advancements.
We are proud to share that Dr. Hanyang Gong will present in the Numerical Modeling of Sea Ice Dynamics session. The presentation, titled “A Review of Numerical Methods of Ship Resistance in FSICR Brash Ice Channel”, will provide valuable insights into the latest numerical methods used to model ship resistance in ice-covered waters.
We look forward to contributing to the discussion and advancing our knowledge in this critical field.
