Webinar: Ice Tests by Aker Arctic

Our webinar was about getting know why ice testing needs to be considered when developing new ships or studying different conditions in low temperatures areas such as Arctic.

Topi Leiviskä, Head of Ice Model Testing at Aker Arctic, presented ships performance evaluation, verification of design alternatives and other solutions done with model testings.

Teemu Heinonen, Development Engineer at Aker Arctic, told us about Full Scale Trials, the final and one of the most crucial stages of the building process of an icebreaking ship.
