The Most important design phase for a shipbuilding project

Aker Arctic participated in ASNE Symposium (American Society of Naval Engineers) in Baltimore last week. The symposium focused on USCG and US Navy interests in Arctic waters.

Aker Arctic participated in a panel discussion in the “Engineering Challenges in the Arctic/Antarctic” session.

One of the interesting Technical tracks was the “Polar Class Vessel Design” in which Aker Arctic gave a presentation “The Most important design phase for a shipbuilding project”, where the importance of good concept design was discussed.
