IMO Secretary-General visited Aker Arctic
On Wednesday 28.2.2024, Secretary-General of International Maritime Organisation Arsenio Antonio DomÃnguez Velasco visited Aker Arctic together with the representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Finland.
The visit is particularly noteworthy as it aligns with one of the key themes of the Secretary’s trip to Finland: the incorporation of ice-strengthened vessels into the IMO’s ongoing negotiations aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions from ships.
